Cross-border acquisition
Advised a mid-market manufacturing business on a cross-border acquisition of a regional competitor to support expansion into a new export market.

Independent advisory for founders, investors and family offices — structured process, complete discretion, from first conversation to close.
Most advisory firms focus on one side of a transaction. LGS Capital works across businesses, investors and HNI clients, giving us a broader perspective on capital, transactions and private-market opportunities. We don't just introduce capital — we focus on finding the right structure and counterparties for the mandate. Our advisory mandates are limited in number, senior-led from the first conversation to close, and confidential by default.

We assess the opportunity before taking a mandate, understand the business and transaction objectives, structure the appropriate capital or transaction approach, and identify relevant counterparties. We work from a focused shortlist rather than a broad broadcast and remain involved through negotiation, diligence and execution until closing — not just until the first term sheet.

Strong advisory begins with understanding the business, the sector and the transaction — not just the capital markets side. Our work spans multiple industries where strategic transactions, capital requirements and investor expectations differ.

Common questions before the first call — and honest answers.
No. LGS Capital is an independent advisory firm — we structure and introduce capital, but do not deploy our own balance sheet into the mandates we advise on. This helps keep our advice independent and aligned with the client's objectives.
We work across company sizes, from growth-stage businesses raising their first institutional round to established mid-market companies pursuing M&A. Fit, transaction readiness and strategic alignment matter more to us than size alone.
Corporate advisory mandates, including M&A, fundraising and investor sourcing, are generally structured on a retainer plus success-fee basis, with terms agreed before the mandate begins. HNI wealth advisory fees are disclosed separately in accordance with applicable regulations.
LGS Capital is headquartered in Mohali, Punjab, and most of our active mandates are India-based. We also advise on selected cross-border transactions where the appropriate counterparty or opportunity is outside India.
M&A and fundraising mandates typically run for 3–9 months from signing to close, depending on transaction complexity, diligence, negotiations and market conditions. We provide a realistic timeline before the engagement begins.
LGS Capital provides advisory support across M&A transactions, business fundraising, capital structuring, investor sourcing and selected private-market opportunities. The appropriate advisory approach depends on the client's objectives, transaction requirements and strategic fit.
